If you no longer wish to keep a domain name, simply disable automatic renewal and then let the domain name expire on its own.
If you have already received an invoice but do not wish to renew/pay it, you can simply delete the invoice. You can do this on the invoice page by clicking the “Delete Invoice” button on the far right.
But if you want to deregister a domain name before it expires, you can follow this guide:
Step 1: Log in to your account
- Access Your Account: First and foremost, visit our customer zone and log in to your account.
Step 2: Navigate to your domains
- Find “Domains”: Once you are logged in, navigate to the “Services > Domains” section in the main menu. Here you will find an overview of all domain names registered under your account.
Step 3: Select domain for deregistration
- Select the Correct Domain: Scroll through your list of domains and identify the specific domain name you wish to deregister. Be careful to select the correct domain to avoid accidentally deregistering the wrong domain name. If you do make a mistake, contact our customer service, and we will resolve the issue.

Step 4: Request deregistration
- Initiate Deregistration: Once you have selected the domain, click on “Request Cancellation” on the left side.

- Choose When to Deregister: On the next page, you will have the option to choose between two alternatives.
- 1. Immediate Deregistration. With this option, deregistration is requested immediately, and your domain will stop functioning on the internet within 2 hours.
- 2. Deregistration at Expiry Date. With this option, deregistration for your domain will be requested when it expires.
- Confirmation of Deregistration: Once you have requested deregistration, you will receive an email confirming your request.
